Move over leather! There has never been a great time for denim! Denim is such a classic and versatile look that you can wear it in a million different ways, in a million different days, for almost any occasion.

To stay in trend & add a classic flair, I paired a lightweight denim vest as a substitute to a button down shirt. Layered a tailored Oxford blue blazer for a classic finish and topped it off with brown combat boots to add a slight grunge. This look is fresh, stylish, and great for the summer. Although the blazer brings sophistication to this look you can always take it off and tie it around your waist for a more casual and relaxed look.

Now for the coveted distressed denim secret: DO IT YOURSELF! Get a great fitting pair of jeans and mark your spot and go to town. The key tools you need to creating show stopping distressed denim is a razor, sand paper, and scissors. To finish the process,  put your denim jeans in the washing machine to help the fraying more pronounced.
