Once you master self-love, you will be mindful of who you are rather than caring about what others think.
Individuality was slowly stripped away from us at a young age, but this healing quality I call self-love, will help us develop it back. It may seem hard at times, but we have to trust in ourselves, put out great intentions, and most of all do something we love each and every day.
It has taken me a long time to get comfortable in my own skin, and it's something I have to work on every day. One thing I can say helped me down the road, is recognizing my strengths. My strengths have a lot to do with me loving myself for who I am. Although I still have a long way to go, I'm happy, and thankful for where I'm at in life.
If self-love is something you still working on, it's time you make it a priority. It's one of the strongest qualities to have. Once you see and understand, loving someone else will seem easy.
