Bad ass looks in a corset!
This outfit has so many elements going on, but the main focus is this corset. Yes. Corset! I never imagined in a million yrs I would be wearing one, but I love it. It's trending on a completely different level and more popular than ever! From Goutier to Madonna the corset has been a racy statement piece. My challenge was to make this historical women'saccessory transition flawlessly into my personal style. I flipped the corset upside down and placed the back of the corset in the front. I adopted the idea of wearing the corset over a bold top and made it my own. That's the only way to do it.
To personalize this look, I added cat eye frames from house of Holland, a baseball cap, and tan pants from Misook. These sophisticated pants were a neat way to add finishing touches to this look. They're comfortable, flattering and the right fit around the waist. Let this outfit be inspiration for your next look and hashtag #teambravesouls.
If you willing to be on trend, stay true to your aesthetic. Never commit yourself one hundred percent to trends because that will block your creativity. The idea is to take the trend into your hands and somehow make it fit your personal style. It's fairly easy once you understand the major keys toyour personal style. Remember, if you are going to incorporate trends into your style, own it.
